My parents 50th anniversary is coming up in November and I've been given the responsibility of doing the food prep. It's going to be a casual event (no white table cloths, etc. served in the fellowship hall of a country church)

I'm expecting around 300 people.

I've got some thoughts in mind for the menu but I would appreciate suggestions from this group for good food that's easy to prepare and serve in mass quantity.

Thanks

Leg Quarters> They're Cheap & tasty( Look up Cornell Chicken), Steam Ship Round of Beef with Horseradish sauce on the side carving station style, Roasted taters, Green bean casserole, Corn Pudding, Pasta Salad. All Good Cheap eats with easy prep.

Do the Round on a Rotisserie and the LQ's over the the coals.

Butts is a must, pulled pork is about the easiest to cater to large crowds with. Then could add burgers, brats, and sides (slaw, potato dish, etc.).

Good luck with the cook.
