So, the g/f has said she really wants to see this "Ms. Hoggie" contest ... it looks like I may be able to make it to the Brethren Mixer after all

Plus, I promised her that we could go to the Zoo on Saturday, so she could spend as much time with the Penguins as possible

Mem zoo is very solid

That is Miss Piggy Idol. We have the floor down and the tents up. Next step is to move in the tables, chairs, fridge, and the FROZEN DRINK MACHINE!!!. The Bourbon Slush is waiting to be mixed.

So you're already there putting things together, or do you build it then move it there?

We built the floor segments in advance and moved them out there. We had to do some improv because our spot isn't level and build up the front to make it level with everything else.

Finished with the exterior and just need a few finishing touches

Trailer and Porto pots placed as well as ice machine and Lang smoker. Scaffold going up tomm am. Gotta say that Matt w direct scaffold has been f'n awesome to deal with this far. Very very cool guy who goes above and beyond.

Carpeting, bar furniture and backwoods go in tomorrow as well. Food and bar supplies going in wed morning. Neil from McClure's BBQ arrived today and we hit Gus'... He's a chicken snob but was impressed. He's been unimpressed with interstate, Corky's, or commissary que, but like central.

So ready for wed afternoon to start setting everything up and decorating.... Oh, and having a few drinks and enjoying quality NOLA cuisine.
