• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

MAndalay Bay on TV

Saw that Sunday night. Not to be a spoiler, but the women with what looked like several WSM's did pretty well. A MOFO did the best.

That would be Mad Momma and her freak male daughter

Interesting.
I am glad they finally gave a full hour to a major event
Contests are "catching on" and getting "marketable"!

Regional differences obvious in a few areas--good deal!

Chillie "Judging" vs "Peoples choice" was telling.
For Judging--meat and sauce only.
For Peoples Choice--fillers abound--mainly beans
I "Table Captained" Chillie Judging at Barnesville, GA a couple of weeks ago. One green "Chillie Verde" done with chicken. No one knew what to do with it  The other 7 entries all had beans and were ground beef based--no brisket or other smoked meat
I don't have a dog in the bean--no bean battle.
Just seems the purist rules want one thing the public wants another. What does the public know anyway

Congrats to the Pellet Envy team (MO?) and the chicks with the WSMs--well done for sure.

Good coverage for once--much better than the AR and ????? in the past!

Now, the left coast BROs need to get together and do this next year--"Fear the Pig" and all...
