Hey guys,

What's the injection gun on BBQ Pitmasters everyone has been using on pork butts and briskets?

Its not the Mixon one or the metal spring one either. It looks plastic and the one I'm referring too was green and white plastic with the hose going into the injection bowl.

It is an auto fill. Anyways I found it. 20cc or 5 ml is now the question.

thanks in advance,

I've got the 20cc and it really saves time when you're injecting large cuts like brisket or pork butts. I would definately go with the 20cc just to save a few pumps on the handle - if you're doing a lot of meat, your hand can cramp after a while. The biggest challenge is controlling your input tube - it helps to have something like a jug with a narrow spout to put your injuction solution in.
Good luck.

It clogs easily with the smallest particles and is a bear to clean when that happens. So, make sure you strain your injection through a fine strainer before using the injector with it.

Wouldnt it be possible to fit some sort of strainer to end of the injector so it strains as a it sucks?

I would have thought some type of filter would be available for Air Tools/compressors that may do the trick?

Or a filter for a Paint sprayer like this
