Felt like a little salmon tonight so I dusted a nice 1 lb Sockeye fillet with Dizzy Pig "Raging River" and threw it on the gasser with some alderwood chips...

My wife whipped up a great salad...

Added some wild rice pilaf and a Pacific Northwest Chardonay...

Topped it all off with a Pear Clafouti...

Ah yes...life is good! :p

The salmon, rice and pear clafouti look amazing. Is that a type of tort?

Looks good and Familiar... Had the same thing for dinner.

Good Stuff.

I had to Google "clafouti":oops::roll:

It says you use a pancake type batter.

That looks like a dough in the pic but I could be wrong.

What did you use John?

It all looks really good.

Nice color on the salmon, must be wild caught huh?

It is a pancake batter poured over sliced and spiced pears and baked...awesome! The salmon was wild caught and frozen.
