Bride and I have been skipping supper(not always but mostly). So basically cooking 2 meals instead of three for two. So, I’m trying to cook less- but more frequent smaller meals. Along with that demands hitting the brakes in BBQ hoarding tendencies. Freezers of meat, cupboards of rubs, Shed/garage full of coals.
I’m slipping. I’ve got 6 full bags of lump, 4 bags of briquettes and now 60 pounds of B&B pellets. Hard to resist 1.67# choice brisket, 1.47# spares.
I am a chipoholic. I do pretty well avoiding chips, lately I’ve slipped there too. A new smoker demanded Nachos-Christmas. I did walk close to 20 miles this week. That counts.
Yesterday The Bride brought me a gift. I think she had shoes in her Dillard’s sacks.
I left The Cheetos unopened.
The struggle is real.
