Hey cowgirl this thread has inspired me to smoke up a butt this weekend. I think I might try that injection marinade. Any chance you can share the proportions?

I am also having a two butt weekend, but I brined both of them in a salt/molasses/water mixture and then rubbed them a couple hours ago with a homemade rub.

They go on the WSM in an hour or so over the top of a 10 lb brisket.
