Thinking of adding new smoker to inventory. I've looked at Backwoods Chubby, but I'm also interested in a pellet smoker. For the YS480 owners, can you get 2 butts and 1 brisket on the main shelf? Any other thoughts?

Thanks.

Jeff

I owned a YS640 and a YS1500 is coming soon. I would say if you put the brisket front to back and the butts next to each other front to back, you should be good, but I can't say for sure since I haven't done it. If you call All Things Barbecue they could tell you for sure.

Hopefully Josh or Bigdog will be around to answer this better than I.

Disclaimer up front.. I am a Yoder dealer

I don't think that would be a problem at all.

Lower main grate consist of two 12"x20" racks.

I have four YS480 with optional second grate and thermometer probe port ( pic attached ) in stock

BTW Malcom Reed Killer Hogs cooks on a YS480 and loves it.
Feel free to call or emial if any questions
I can put you in contact with Yoder YS480 customers if needed
