Vortex Question

Looking to buy a Vortex.
I have both a XL BGE and a 22' Weber

So, I'm looking at the Medium

Vortex has a confusing message on their website:

Amazon Order Warning: Make sure you are ordering the original and genuine Vortex from an Authorized Retailer

But they don't indicate whether they actually sell on Amazon or not.

Here is what appears to be them selling on Amazon.

I really don't mind paying more for quality, but I also don't like paying more just to pay more.

It says "By Vortex" under the title, and takes you to the Vortex page. So, it would seem to be the real deal.

This is the one I bought https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BP7JFWK/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 it says extra large but indicates weber 22inch. Very well made and works nicely. I liked the attached tab for a handle.

I don't believe Vortex BBQ sells on Amazon. Here is a list of retailers. I can't speak to the others, but pay attention to the reviews on Amazon. There are a lot of complaints about bad welds and the stainless rusting, on a lot of the ones on Amazon. I am a big Amazon fan, but I decided it wasn't worth the risk, and bought mine from Big Poppa Smokers.

This was my concern.
The reviews of the knockoffs just can't compare.
I'll be ordering soon.

4th one down on the list is Island Outdoor. (In small print, it says they authorized to sell on Amazon)
The same vendor that is selling it on Amazon. (Look below the listing to see who the actual vendor is)

So it appears that Vortex BBQ doesn’t actually sell on Amazon, but one of their authorized vendors do.
