I was in GFS the other and noticed this product there, Two Rivers Chophouse Ribeye, Strips, and Top Sirloin. I’ll let the packages speak for themselves (y’all will have a ball). Each package was $6 except the top sirloin which was $4, so I bought some. All n all they didn’t quite have the texture of beef or the beefiness if you get my meaning, you know when you’ve had a good steak. Seasoned it up with Kinders Buttery Steakhouse and fried it up. I’m going to give it a hard no!!!

17% of a solution, plus beef fat added?

What did that poor bovine do to deserve that kind of treatment?

That “solution” usually contains papaya juice. It has an enzyme that breaks down (tenderizes) the meat. Probably a “cutter & canner” grade of beef.
