Started with a prime grade TT from Wild Fork.

Fired up the Shirley FP with red oak

Wrapped up some sweet taters in foil and tossed them on.

After a bit the TT went on.

When it was about done, I tossed asparagus with Garlicky Lemon on there.

Outstanding tri-tip! Looks pefect!

My son was gonna come down NYE for tri-tip but plans got changed so I vac-packed them for another time.
 
Now THAT's a Tri-Tip!

You started with a great piece of meat, then added great seasoning, and then perfectly cooked. Doesn't get any better than that!
