I heard you better make a run on jewelry stores and make some good purchases for rain on New Years, huh? Guess it's time to drop this little surprise on all you SoCal folks... in 26 contests this year, I believe it's rained on Big Creek BBQ about 19 or 20 times! How do you think Big Creek got so big? Now we're bringing the show to the West Coast! :becky: :thumb:

Lets get this thing on!!..we are chomping at the bit..can't wait to see you all and happy holidays to all of you and yours!

I hope we don't have to see that display again!..lol!

Pala was offering a free shuttle for Mo from BBQ site to Casino and back-- I turned them down, didn't want to have a Golden Acorn episode again- lol...

Keep looking at the 10 day forecast, and it keeps changing... the same webpage had 3oth 60% rain, 31st 30% and a Sunny 1st... One day later (today) it shows Sunny on 30th, and 31st and a chance of rain (30%) on the 1st... I think weather will be fine, and even if we get a little rain, it will not be anything like we've had this week here in socal.

From video on the news I've seen of the SoCal area, y'all must be about to start building arks! Save me a spot on one! :becky:

Not to hijack, but I was wondering as a spectator what is the best day to go? As for the weather looks like Friday. I was also wondering is there a cost for spectators? Thanks and looking forward to seeing you guys cook!
