So those are the meat probe thermometers.... that makes more sense. We were talking about the one that Brew linked to originally. Tel-Tru sell that one for $49.95 - www.kck.com sells that one for $45, and I believe kck.com sells the one you got for $18.95/each.

Those work well too, and can be left in the pit if needed.

FYI - the virtual weber bullet board has a 15% off coupon through Tel Tru direct until the end of June. Price after discount is just slightly less than www.kck.com, and I have not yet compared shipping costs. Just something to think about.

I've got 2 glow tel tru's on my good one. They work and light up well!
If it's pitch black I'll light 'em up with a flashlight,but most nights the moon will light them up fine. You can read them easily in the daytime too.
