Spritzing: Not buying that it makes any difference

When I don’t wrap ribs, I spritz to get the ribs a little wet to reapply rub. I do it once every hour for like 3 hours. I don’t do it to keep it wet or moist, just to get a little more rub to stick to help build a little more flavor and bark.
