I have been lurking and reading here for a while. I really like this forum! Very laid back and friendy

This was last nights dinner.

Cheap beef roast
Soaked in worcestershire sauce.
Heavy rub
Made a platform for the roast by thickly slicing a Texas sweet onion placed on a piece of foil.
Started at 225 to 235 for 3 or 4 hrs No water pan ( went bowling :-D I love my R2D2 LOL)
Got home and cranked up the heat to 375.
Pulled it at 180 internal and Mama chopped it up.

MMMMMMM good stuff!!

Ah! A fellow onion lover!

Sometimes I cut a couple of onions in half, drizzle a little olive oil on them , salt, pepper and then toss them in the cooking chamber with whatever it is I'm smoking just to enjoy the smell . . . and drive my neighbors nuts! :-D

Welcome to the forum!
