Some of you know that Italians don't know about macaroni but they do know about maccheroni.
The elbow shaped macaroni is for export use for countries like the US...here in Holland we know macaroni also as the elbow shaped ones.
I brought home some Italian cream for pasta when I was in Sicily,very good stuPh!
Baked some bacon with red onion and garlic...added some chardonnay.
After that I added a mixture of the Italian cream,chardonnay,parmigiano reggiano,dried basil,salt,pepper.
When plated I added some homemade pistachio pesto on top of the pasta.
Phlanksteak was rubbed with Weber steak rub...
