Is blackops spicy (outside of the typical black pepper)?

Hard to find rubs not loaded with heat.

I am a huge Oakridge fan, but the Black Ops is probably the only one of their products that didn't do it for me. Tried it twice and I wasn't a fan. To answer your question, yes...it has heat outside of black pepper.

Guess i'll stick to my montreal steak + killer hogs on beef.

It is really good. I have used it on beef ribs and chuck roast. I did not get a complaint from my heat allergic (not reaally) wife about too much heat.
