• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

My cousin stopped by today to help me move some furniture. He and a friend of his are avid hunters. The wanted a cooker to smoke some deer sausage and some more std Q items on. Being from "the farm" my cousin was able to provide the torch and welder, the friend some of the materials. Nice rig for their first attempt, still a work in progress but I've provided them with a few hints and some links. By the time they get this one tightened up, I hope they're ready to start on mine! :D

How to the leaf springs work out. Pull OK?

He said they needed to add some mass. It tracks good but the springs are definitely underloaded.

Looks like then are going to need a platform to stand on while tending to the grates and fire. Also, isn't the smoke stack mounted too low?

Not at all; it's just right for smoking a whole cow.
