New 270 Smoker

New here on the Brethren. I usually lurk, but just wanted to give a shout out to Terry and Stephanie West of 270 Smokers!

Yesterday I picked up a “KC” and graduated to the big leagues! I have been smoking on a WSM 18 for 2 years and decided I wanted something bigger. Plus, some friends and I are thinking of dipping our toes in to some competitions for fun.

Terry and Stephanie are honest, humble people, who are absolutely centered around the customer... I could have stayed and talked BBQ with all day!

Congrats! I have also moved on from a WSM but have kept it and used it due to its portability. Probably one of the best cookers to start out with. Be sure to post a cook on that sweet new smoker!

First cook done. This thing cooks fast! The ribs weren’t bad, but I cooked’em about an hour too long. I’m glad I did the break in cook before Christmas!

Nice! 270 Smokers are the best on the market.
Love my Sumo. I got one right before they discontinued the Sumo. I love mine and I don't think I will ever need a different smoker. Might get another 270 but I am sold on this one. Congrats and enjoy. You won't be disappointed at all.
