I'm glad there were so many people that enjoyed the dip I brought. Let's just call it ABT Dip. Faster and easier to type!
Dip:
8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 8 ounce pkg's of cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise
6 to 8 jalapenos, chopped and deseeded
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 to 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup diced green onion
Combine all ingredients and put into a heat proof dish. I use the half size foil pan. This can be prepped ahead of time and refrigerated.
Topping:
1 cup of crushed crackers ( I use Ritz or Club)
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 stick of butter, melted
Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle evenly over the top of the dip.
Bake or smoke uncovered at 350* for 25 to 30 minutes until bubbling. I like using a chunk of cherry or hickory while smoking.
Dip chips and enjoy!
Sorry I didn't get a pic of the dip. I don't think anyone did. Everyone dug in as soon as it came out of the smoker.
