Forney's idea could be a media gold mine. The exposure from raising money/donations for from customers in trade for free food would be huge compared to your out of pocket costs.

And with this, you might be able to add your company idea back and provide them a VIP area. Essentially, they are donating money to charity for the event and you are hosting it at your location.

Ultimately, you're not out anything but some time, and you promoted your location in/on the majority of the local media outlets in a feel good story.
