Went to the Shelby Walmart looking for packer cut brisket, they had some but huge layers of fat and minimal meat. How do they do that?
Anyway, a fellow walked up and we started a conversation about brisket an Q. I asked if he knew of any other places to buy brisket. He gave me the name of a real farmer's meat market. Way out in the country, on a farm in an old building.
This market has choice, never frozen beef brisket for $2.50/LB. They looked really nice. Bought two, trimmed them this morning and have them in Walter Jetton Mop for a day. :clap2:
Going to cook them in my converted now not gas oven, It's gonna be good my boys! :thumb:
