Burnt ends from a chuck roast???

Hey Brethren,

I think I saw somewhere that you can make burnt ends from a chuck roast. Is this true, and if so, how do you do it?? I'm throwing on two of them either tonight or tomorrow morning depending on how long it takes to smoke these guys. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
