I would imagine that most answers will be Tel Tru or River Country -"spend the money or settle for less".

I like the look of a dial thermometer on a cooker- but I could just as easily do without one on a door or a lid. I'm not one who lives and dies by temperature on a cooker but I do like being able to know a temp on a cooking grate if I decide it's important.
