So I repurposed the pallet the Vault was shipped on. 4x4 legs with braces and bolts. Trimmed pallet on table saw to make sides even. This thing is beast!

Im going to beat it with a chain then stain it to make it look rustic.

Nice work! Good to see you use what most people would have thrown away.
 
Nice looking table man. Not being a carpenter at all, I scrapped the wood that my Vault came in.
 
Interesting to read your plan to distress the wood with chains. I once interviewed a lady whose previous employment was as a distressor in a furniture factory. She basically beat furniture all day with chains and used a sharp spike-like tool to create "wormholes".

She said she could go into work frustrated and mad, but always came home content. :)
