I got a hankerin' for cheeseburgers today, so I stopped by the store on my way home and grabbed about 3 pounds worth of chuck roast and short rib. It had been a while since I ground my own. I had planned to use the Primo XL and GrillGrates but ran short on time so just put them on the gasser. 500* dome temp was about 650* grate temp, so I dialed it back a bit to 450* on the dome. I think the sear speaks for itself...I was pretty happy with how they turned out.

lookin good. great looking sear. I'd eat those. Love my grill grates too: especially when flipped over for the flat grill side. Its my new favorite way to use them

Nice burger, GG are a great tool. I use mine upside down more often than not.

Any benefits to using the grillgrates like that, versus using the Blackstone, or just a matter of 'these are the tools I want to play with today?
