Did a simple cook today after a day of Christmas shopping and taking my little man to see Santa at Bass Pro.

Fired up the grill, got out a package of butterflied venison chops from the doe I shot first season and seasoned them up with a little Himalayan pink salt, cracked pepper and a light coating of Oakridge's Death Dust.

Could not have been happier with the way they turned out.

Resting, the other two were plated after a 5-10 minute rest.






Nailed it!

 
Man! Those look perfect! Just finished some chicken fried venison backstrap with the fam, myself. Very nice chops!
