That looks like about 1" pipe for the air intakes. Is that big enough? Do you need both pipes, or would only one let enough air in to maintain 250 degrees?

scrooge, good eyes! I would go with one bigger pipe next time, ala "n8mans redneck smoker", It works great, just want a different look.
The 2 "pipe intakes" definately take in less air than the bottom 2 "pipe nipples",with one bottom open, the rest close, Ican't get below 250*

Greatest Wifeyin the world...no painting in the house but everything is okay as long as I clean up.....THAT MEANS ALL THE MESS!!! I can live with that cause adult bevs are part of the clean up. Lucky Me!
