They were decent but not great. The fam likes them smothered with sauce whereas I prefer a light, thin sauce.

That's just how i like mine. Not fall apart, just the right amount of tooth feel, and thin coat of sauce/glaze. IMO ribs should have a sauce or glaze. Not a fan of dry rubbed ribs.
