Can someone explain the draw?

Teams who GC at a qualifying contest (state championship, 15 teams 1st year, 25 teams thereafter), get a whiskey barrel bung with their name on it tossed in with the rest of the qualifying GCs from that state. One bung is pulled an that is the state's representative at the Jack. If a particular state only has one GC that resides in that state, that team gets to go to the Jack. For example, if Arkansas only has one team that resides there that GCed and that team doesn't get pulled in any state draw, that team gets to go to the Jack to cook.

Teams that win 7 qualifying contests are an Automatic In and don't have to go through the draw. Teams that qualify for 10 years and haven't gotten a draw get to go too. Some states only have one contest. The winner from that contest is an automatic as well.

IPA will not draw 25 teams...unfortunately...
Whitefish will not either...sadly enough...looks like Billings will be the only qualifier for MT this year...it is a first year event with 21 teams.
