One year I bought a 50th anniversary 'gold' wormdrive Skilsaw, then wrapped it up as a present for Mrs ~t~ for Christmas. She was thrilled.... and then she said I could use it whenever I wanted. :mrgreen:

I got a couple different chicken brines, a briner bucket, and a Costco membership. Today I gifted myself a 1/2 cord of oak and an XL Kindling Cracker.

Actually almost all of mine was cooking related. Cocktail shaker, Stainless Mercer culinary rules, Hells handle spatula, griddle caddy and what I'm most excited about-an onsite course on Knife Skills at the Kansas City Culinary Center.
