During my Thanksgiving brisket cook the G/F noticed how I was nearly standing on my head all contorted to read my Thermopen classic at night. Seems like I mumbled something about there being a nice upgrade but since my classic still worked I could never really justify a new one. Xmas day I received an MK-4 (in BLUE - my fav) - wish I'd upgraded long ago. :thumb:

I bought myself some beer and me and I are working on a mid- morn glow!
Got a pot of Anasazi beans and left over spare ribs simmering and baby whites with ham hocks on the other burner. Steak fries and dirty rice later.

I haven't used any of it yet. I've only used the Plowboys Fin and Feather. I used it on some shrimp and salmon and both turned out excellent.
