Nevada, Iowa comp in August?

I have been trying to contact the folks who are putting on the Nevada Kiwanis Club BBQ Contest (August 28-29). Sent emails and left phone messages and haven't heard anything back. Are any of you planning on going? Have you had trouble getting a team application?
