Greetings all, great place you have here!. My names Doug and im from Melbourne, Australia. i've been pretty obsessed with BBQ for about 6 years now and ike most hobbies it started small (Weber kettle) and slowly worked my way current cooker which is the Yoder YS1500. Besides BBQ I also like to dabble in a bit of sausage making & charcuterie such as Salami, Capicola & Prosciutto as well as cold smoking cheese, bacon etc. via my Aussie BBQ Bloke cold smoke generator. Also into dry ageing beef and am a massive chilli head currently growing 18 varieties.
Still lots to learn (especially with the YS1500 as it only a few weeks old) but it seems like there a really helpful bunch of guys & gals here so am looking forward to continuing my BBQ journey and chatting with you all...CHEERS!
