Hi Folks,
One of the things I want to have on the Big E trailer is a "cook top" set up. Something like this
But when I look at these a little closer, it looks like there are several pretty different types.
This seems to be sort of the standard. It's a "low pressure" model http://www.shopperschoice.com/item_...s-Burner_path_3-51-2110-11428_item_12335.html
Then this seems to be a "hybrid" http://www.shopperschoice.com/item_...ndscreen_path_3-51-2110-11428_item_12334.html
And then this model is "banjo" style http://www.shopperschoice.com/item_...ow-Stand_path_3-51-2110-11428_item_11175.html
As far as what I'll be cooking, I'd say a lot of will be pretty normal frying chicken in a cast iron skillet. Or frying french fries in a dutch oven. Will also do gumbo and chili in big stockpots. Some low country seafood boils.
I don't see doing many fried turkeys with it as I like smoked turkey better.
Anyone have thoughts / experiences on what types of the cookers work best and what they do? There is a video on the shopperschoice.com site but it wasn't really all that helpful. Figured I'd ask the real experts here.
Much thanks.
J
