Several chili posts today, you'd think it was the last weekend of a chili throwdown. Oh wait, it is! Still not too late to enter, come and join us, it's a blast!
Anyhow I had some chops that needed using up. Coat of Badia Southwest fajita seasoning.
And a coat of Tatonka Dust, because Tatonka Dust and pork are meant to be together.
A basic MSU green chili sauce recipe. 2 cloves of garlic, half of a medium onion, etc. I think I got the right proportions.
I'd say that's about 2 or 3 cloves...
Chiles...
Everything into the pot...
Chops onto the Big Joe with a couple hunks of hickory indirect for some extra smoke.
Then a good sear at the end.
Smothered with chili sauce and some cheesy mashed taters & carrots.
That was some good eatin'. Thanks for looking.
