Costco Prime Beef

You guys are getting me closer to a Costco membership. Sam's is closer, and we have a membership there, but the meats are not good enough to brag about.

Love Costco's prime beef. We have whole packers over here on the left coast (seen 'em in Cali too). Prices can't be beat! Nothing better than smoking a prime rib for the holidays. Having said that, I often notice that the butchering on the cuts are hack jobs and wonder if they're getting the cuts that won't pass inspection by a restaurant chef. Can anyone confirm or deny that???

I am not sure about the butchering, the ones I get seem to be OK, but I'm not sure if I'd know if they were a little chopped...

I do though agree with a Prime - Prime Rib for the holidays. Did this one up on Christmas Eve, 2015.

My last Costco Prime pic post I promise, I got none left, lol...

This was a boneless Prime at 6.65lbs.

Costco prime packers are usually $2.99/lb here in Mesa, AZ. Trimmed one earlier tonight that will go on my MAK tomorrow.
