Best BBQ Rubs

Big, big fan of Plowboy's Yardbird and Bovine Bold. Also like D-Dog's
Apple Rub, Byron's Butt Rub, The Slabs Kyle Style, and Todd's Dirt.

Man, so many good products out there, I have been wanting to try Dizzy Pigs and Spicewine's rubs for over a year now.

I love all kinds of rubs. I have WAY too big a selection according to my wife..

Beef (Tri Tip, Chucks, Brisket) I love Bovine Bold from Plowboys and Spicewine's Heffer Dust

Chicken is a lot of fun with Rubs. There are so many good ones. Plowboys Yardbird is incredible. Simply Marvelous is awesome! Spicewine Hen & Hog is tasty! I also REALLY like Smokin' in the Dark's Spicy rub on Chicken and John Henry's Texas Chicken Tickler. Don't be afraid to just sprinkle some Todd's Dirt on their either!

Ribs! Smokin in the Dark Spicy and Yardbird are my GO TO rib rubs...

and don't forget the popcorn! Yardbird on Popcorn is a gift from the Heavens... (or at least a gift from Todd...)

and a special shout out to John Henry's Pecan Rub which is also VERY good!

There are tons of good ones out there! Get one you like and go to it!

It is also very good on corn on the cob :)

I like my Basic and Competition rub recipes they have both been winners for me and my students. I use one rub for everything. What goes under and over the rub changes with the meat it's going on.

I'm pretty partial to our Ryan's Po-Po rub for comps and Bone Suckin' Sauce rub occasionally for home ribs.

Theres a lot of options, but my favorites:

Ployboys Yardbird and Bovine
Jacked Up BBq
Kosmos Dirty Bird and Cow Cover
