BBQ Brethren Throwdown - "Fatties"

It's not the most artistic of pictures, but we just cooked 50 Bacon Explosions for a promo at a local restaurant in KC. Here's a good shot of 36 of them resting nicely in a Good-One Rodeo. We could have fit more in there, but they just looked too nice all lined up.

MY "CALL 911 HEART ATTACK FARK FATTY OMELET"

JD Maple
Ball Park "Angus Beef" dogs
Mushrooms, mustard, onions
Blue berries
Bacon rap
Pecan & Maple wood for smoke
4 eggs
Maple syrup

Chopped up a couple of slices and made omelet today.

Fark just kept calling me to post it in the fattie throw down.

It was way better than it looks:!::icon_wink:icon_bigsmil

Five Meat Fattie

Here's my not so humble  entry. Starting in the center we have hot Italian sausage links with the casing removed (about 1/2 pound). Next is one pound of JD sage, a layer of pepperoni slices, one pound of JD Seriously Hot, a dusting of Yardbird rub, another layer of pepperoni and then the bacon weave (almost two pounds of bacon). I gave the outside a dusting of Sloppy's rub finished off with my own blend of Pig Candy rub. That's five different types of pork!

In the next to last pic there is a one pound Hy-Vee (a local grocery chain) hot sausage fattie to compare the sizes.

Wow! There are a lot of really amazing fatty creations in this Throwdown!

No doubt... The voting hasn't even begun and I feel like an "also ran". I'm thinking that some of us have too much time on their hands and too much pork in the fridge:wink:
