Rocky Branch BBQ
is one Smokin' Farker
I like SPOG and a little apple wood small smoke.
Dried is what I use. I use a mortar and pestle on them a bit or zap them with the coffee grinder, just to break them up.That's just the dried needles, right?
For general cooking, I like to use Zehnder's chicken seasoning.
I grew up going to Zehnder's every year when we would spend a week or so in Michigan visiting family after my parents and I moved away when I was 6.
Not surprising, it's got chicken bouillon in it.Agreed. The Zehnder's seasoning is AMAZING! It's strong so you have to be careful but it sure makes chicken taste like CHICKEN! I still live in Michigan and it's my go to answer for the question..."I'm headed to Frankenmuth...need anything?" If you aren't from Michigan...and want/need some...let me know. I will help get some your way.
In fact...today I was heating up some leftover chicken fajita/peppers etc. I like to quick heat/toast in a pan with oil...just for fun I dusted them with famous "Frankenmuth Chicken Seasoning". Yummy!
