Interesting thing is, when I joined, I immediately noted the most excellent cooking skills coming from your region. Illinois and environs. Barbeque. Interesting I thought. Whooda thunk? We (myself, Bbq n Brew and eddie6) will be there by 8AM.
Ron, I think it may say on the permit that the permit holder has to be there at a certain time to have the ranger sign off on it or something.
Also you are correct that there is no electricity at the forest preserve.

I'll bring my 18.5" WSM, a bag of Royal Oak briquettes, some MOINKs and a case of Buttwiper. What time is everyone getting there? We will most likely be arriving around 11 so my 10 month old can nap in the car on the way there. Looking forward to it!
