I think the problem is your search criteria.
It looks like you just put in the word "Kentucky" so it only found contests with "Kentucky" in the name. Unfortunately only past contests had that criteria.

Try this instead: put KY in the search criteria and fill in the dates as 01/01/09 thru 12/31/09

any info on sanctioning(yeah i got the website) or interest is greatly appreciated. i'm not part of this or interested in becoming an organizer just merely researching for a partner that has the facility(grounds).
as far as grounds go,there is water, some power,restrooms w/ showers, moto-x track & quite a few acres for a large turnout. it's approx. 20 miles from the tennesse border in south central ky. & roughly 2.5 hours south of louisville.
like i said,if you have any info or interest in competing,judging,or anything else just let me know.

we'll call this a feasibility study.

You must be pretty new to Ky. BBQ contests if this is the only info you are aware of. Fortunately, the number of Ky BBQ contests have grown over the past few years.

Yeah Not to Mention all the Kentuckiana Events Too
