Huron is hosting the 5th annual South Dakota BBQ Championships in Huron, SD. This is a KCBS sanctioned state championship which is 1 of 2 in the state. It will take place at the state fairgrounds in the SW campground.
These are 20 x 50 sites on grass each with 20 & 30 amp power, nearby water, an RV station, & indoor showers.
This is a $10,000 contest with a $175 entry fee paying 10 deep in each category. There is also $1,000 for the Backyard BBQ event and a Friday night chili cookoff. The beanbag tourney will also be back for 2011!!
Wheeljam, the car/truck/bike show is on the same grounds as well as dirt track racing Saturday night.
Don't forget, $25 gas cards for returning teams bringing a new team.
