Wine and Q

Thanks for sharing, I've been exploring the wine thing some, but what I know will fit in a thimble with room left over!
 
I don't think there's that much to know. If you like it, that's about all that matters. It can be just like BBQ; very simple or very complex. Make some wine, you will learn about it very quickly. If BBQ isn't consuming all your free time wine can take up the rest.
 
I have this great wine pairing cheat sheet and it recommends either Cabernet Sauvignon or a Pinot Noir with grilled or smoked meats. I tend to agree.
