I have a Mak 2 star and was thinking about grabbing an extra K-style probe.

Are the thermoworks probes solid or would I be better off with a stock probe? Work fine with a new Mak 2?

Mak K Style is $75.
Thermoworks High Temp K-style is $42.40 on sale.

I’ve been using them for years on my WSM. No problems so far.
