The ET-73 has served me well and is cheaper. Less wireless range (works for my use ) and the on/off button is behind the battery door. But close to 50% of the price for the ET-732

+1 Haven't justified the expense of the 732 yet, but one other con worth mentioning is, go over 450 and you are buying a new probe. of course the things i cook that are over 400, I don't need a cooker thermometer for
