smoking time

I have a 9lb capon that I'm going to butterfly and smoke ay 225 and I'm wondering aprox how long will it take? I've done small yard birds but nothing this big

Oh well I guess I'll just wing it I hope I'll start it the right time so we can eat at 1/2 time

I go by temp, not time but, my guess would be 30 minutes per pound give or take.
