Holy Smokes! That looks amazing.

Beautiful color on the meat mixture, and I can imagine how nice that contrasts the light crunch of the phyllo.
 
Oh my! Thanks again to everybody for the compliments. Hope you all had a nice Turkey Day! I've always been impressed with the red color that lamb takes on with smoke. The ground variety is no different, and the contrast between that and the light pastry color was part of what I was going for. The smoky lamb flavor also was quite successful to my taste testers (the kids lol).
