Smoking some butts this weekend but I always pull them. I need to cook one to slice. What is a good internal temp. 180 or 185?

I assume you are refering to the money muscle. I cook the muscle to an internal temp of 180 to 185 to slice. Do not forget to let the butt rest a little before slicing.
 
I know, you are probably thinking I don't know what I'm doing but my parents think that pork is only good sliced so I have to cook one for them.

I prefer it pulled but my parents are not purists. :icon_pissed

Family gets what family wants. My wife loves fall of the bone ribs so that is what she gets.
