I mentioned in the "Happy Phriday" thread that I was cooking all 4 categories this past weekend as I was competing in my first pro comp. Now, I guess I have to pay off that statement.
I placed 26th out of 28 teams, and just happy that I wasn't the dreaded "DAL". Pork was the highest at 20th, but all other categories was in the bottom 3. I learned a lot, ran into some old friends, met some new ones, lost sleep, sweated profusely, got a little sunburned, and loved every minute of the experience. My next comp is back to backyard, and maybe a cooking class, or two....
